Firebrand activist Apostle Ezekiel Daniel has launched a scathing critique against high-profile ex-militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, declaring that the Ijaws are not slaves and dismissing recent media attacks against him as the desperate wailing of a camp struggling with effective opposition.
Speaking candidly on the escalating war of words, Apostle Ezekiel Daniel addressed the recent publications circulating from media outlets, directly refuting allegations regarding his personal life, wedding sponsorship, and property ownership while issuing a stern warning to those attempting to smear his reputation.
“There is a saying that only a tree with fruit that people stone. Seeing the wailing, lamentation, and damage control coming out on a daily basis from the Tompolo camp has only shown one thing: that OUR CAMPAIGN is making impact.
Let me state it abundantly clear that Izons are not Tompolo slaves that he can treat any way he likes. We continue to challenge him on all fronts with everything at our disposal legitimately,” Apostle Ezekiel Daniel stated.
Turning his attention directly to the news outlets airing the reports, he cautioned against biased coverage. “To Ogbinbiri TV—an unknown, crawling, and wannabe media house, the ethics of journalism are objectivity, fairness, and balanced reportage of news.
If you fail to go on this path, but decide to become a tool in the hands of cocaine addict Kari Ebipade, a drowning man using his hatchet media, I will help you to kill your dream fast. Your publication is a bundle of amateur propaganda laced with lies fed to you by Kari, and it is important I set the record straight,” Apostle Ezekiel Daniel declared.
Clearing the air on long-standing rumors regarding the funding of his marriage, Apostle Ezekiel Daniel dismissed claims of political sponsorship.
“On the issue of wicked Tompolo sponsoring my wedding, it is a lie from the pit of hell. My wedding, which up to this moment remains among the best societal ones, took place in 2017 after my return from two years of DSS detention courtesy of my support for Tompolo.
As at then, Tompolo was still a wanted man by the federal government, running from one place to another, with no permanent base for fear of being killed or arrested by security agents.
Things were very rough and hard for him, such that he could hardly give anybody 100k then, not to talk of sponsoring a wedding. It was only 300k that he sent to me through a guy called Asaka from Isoko. My readers, can this amount sponsor a wedding?”
He continued, shedding light on who truly backed his nuptials. “When I received the money, I didn't get angry because I knew his condition; in fact, I wasn't expecting anything from him.
The two people that one can say sponsored the wedding are my elder sister in the United Kingdom and Alhaji Omoko Emanuel, the Bolowei of Egbema kingdom. This charlatan Kari, a bloodthirsty hoodlum, didn't attend the wedding, but only called me over the phone not to be angry because he was on the wanted list of the government and, should he come, he would be arrested. A dime he didn't give me.”
Addressing further allegations regarding his vehicle, Apostle Ezekiel Daniel produced details to clarify the purchase history. “On the matter of my car that this Tompolo kidnapper raised, it is another errant nonsense cooked to portray me as an ingrate. Tompolo didn't and has never bought a car for me.
The particular car was bought by me via buy-and-pay-in-full through my church men’s president in 2020. We agreed on a 3 million naira price. He imported the Camry 2018 model for me from Atlanta in the United States of America.
I gave him an initial deposit of 1.5 million naira, and four months later, when it arrived, I paid the remaining balance. Mr. John Olokpa, a youth leader from Opuama community in Warri North Local Government Area, is a witness to the transaction from beginning to the end.”
Apostle Ezekiel Daniel also recounted the circumstances surrounding his past arrest and his role in the pipeline surveillance contract saga involving Tantita Security Services. “On the issue of Bibopere Ajube masterminding my arrest to Akure in Ondo State, the question that should be asked is this: why was I arrested?
This idiot mentioned it as if Tompolo and he did me a favor. Two months prior to the renewal of the Tantita job in August 2023, a well-coordinated media attack was launched by those against it, among them Bibopere.
Due to fear, nobody in the whole Gbaramatu kingdom, be it among those calling themselves activists, media players, and youth bodies talking nonsense about me now—stood up while the anti-Tantita movement was on rampage.
It was at this point I stepped in and fought like a wounded lion till the job was renewed for this ungrateful Tompolo. Fast forward to 2026, now that I am no longer with him, President Tinubu has refused to re-sign it. This should tell diabolical Tompolo that my grace did it for him then, not those yeye occultic idols he worships.
“Explaining the aftermath of that victory, Apostle Ezekiel Daniel added, “Three days later, out of bitterness that I frustrated their moves against Tantita, Bibopere Ajube with others masterminded my arrest which lasted for four days. So if both he and Tompolo intervened for my release, who else should have done it? NA GOD PUNISH KARI.”
Concluding his address, Apostle Ezekiel Daniel leveled heavy accusations against Kari Ebipade and issued a firm call to action to the residents of Warri North. “Kari is not a worthy son of Egbema, neither is he an ambassador of peace, far from it.
He is a pure tout, a militant, and a regular taker of white substances, which is the source of his very violent, satanic temper that has caused his family members a lot of pain, especially his children, which is why they are always running away from him.
Ogbinbiri TV trying to whitewash Kari is a dead-on-arrival propaganda effort because in the kidnapping of Charles Kurobo, Karuwei Balamene, Gen. Dennis, Rapel, and several youths of his kingdom in Egbema, who were taken to Oporoza, heavily tortured, and dumped into prison, he had a hand in these wicked, slavery, and oppressive acts. Once again, I call on the people of Warri North to reject this evil face of Tompolo.”
